UN DÍA DE AGOSTO EN LA CASA DE LA PLAYA

Bienvenidos a mi primer post!

Qué ganas tenía de empezar este blog, tenía en mente durante todo el verano si crearlo o no pero al final me he animado y aquí estamos.

Para comenzar he decidido subiros unas pequeñas fotografías de lo que fue estar en la casa de la playa a la que voy con mi familia todas las vacaciones de verano. Esta casa no es nuestra, siempre la alquilamos, pero ya es como si lo fuera ;) . 

Estas imágenes son del 16 de agosto. Quisimos quedarnos en la casa la mañana entera y poder disfrutar de su piscina privada y de una buena comida casera. 

Welcome to my first post!

I was so excited to start this blog, I had in mind throughout the summer whether to create it or not but in the end I have encouraged myself and here we are.

To begin, I have decided to upload some small photographs of what it was like to be at the beach house where I go with my family every summer vacation. This house is not ours, we always rent it, but it is as if it were ;).

These images are from August 16. We wanted to stay in the house the whole morning and be able to enjoy its private pool and a good homemade meal.

Compramos este flotador monísimo en forma de flamenco (uno de mis animales favoritos) en una tienda cercana. Todos los años lo queríamos pero al final por una cosa o por otra siempre nos quedábamos con las ganas. Pero este año decidimos cogerlo y la verdad es que lo disfrutamos muchísimo.

We bought this cute flamingo-shaped float (one of my favorite animals) at a nearby store. Every year we wanted it but for one thing or another we didn't bought it. But this year we decided to do it and the truth is that we really enjoyed it.

Quisimos comer algo fresquito y fácil de hacer y que no llevara demasiado esfuerzo, así que cocinamos una ensalada de pasta riquísima y unas hamburguesas (con ketchup evidentemente jejej).

La ensalada de pasta la hicimos con taquitos de jamón york, atún, daditos de queso feta, tomate, cebolla y un poquito de orégano por encima. Buenísimo!

We wanted to eat something fresh and easy to make and that would not take too much effort, so we cooked a delicious pasta salad and some hamburgers (with ketchup of course haha).

We made the pasta salad with diced ham, tuna, feta cheese, tomato, onion and a little oregano on top. It was amazing!

También cayó una rondita de juegos de mesa para pasar un rato entretenido. Nuestros favoritos sin duda fueron el juego Rummy (la imagen de la izquierda), y el juego del UNO FLIP (la imagen de la derecha), que es una variante del juego del UNO original y nos gustó mucho.

There was also a round of board games to spend some time. Our favorites ones were definitely the Rummy game (the image on the left), and the UNO FLIP game (the image on the right), which is a variant of the original UNO game and we really liked it.
